For years I lusted for a Datograph, but when they were in the stores there was always a reason I didn't purchase the piece. Once they were discontinued, buying second hand became a challenge for me in terms of wanting to inspect the piece before purchase....

In the past month, I can think of 4 people who've either purchased or are seriously looking for that particular watch. It's an unusually strong interest, especially for a colored metal (vs. PT or WG) piece.

This is the most handsome Chronograph (both dial and movement) IMHO. The heft of the platinum case also feels great on the wrist. It looks great on your wrist! May it always time happy moments for you. Cheers Robin PS: I have the same dato as you and I th...

Coincidentally, after your post Dave, my dato is back few weeks earlier than expected (as advised by Lange Singapore boutique). So the watch spa is not 5 months but only 4 months, not bad for a Dato (considering Europe's holiday period)! I will post some ...

The Datograph is a MUST for any serious chronograph and watch collector. The movement is a dream. The size just perfect. The watch is already now an Icon although it is relatively young. I agree with your choice 100%! Well done. Enjoy it, Edmond
