Can't argue with the Lange 1 being the foundation, it has the most beautiful dial-side design imo. The Zeitwerk is incredible. It was the first Lange I ever saw (when one of my former boss' showed it to me). My fascination with it was what started me on this journey. Interesting to hear Patek rep wanting to see the ALS. wink

In my opinion, the Lange 1 is the foundational piece of Lange. When Lange was relaunched in the 90’s it was one of the first pieces produced.

As for the Zeitwerk, I admired the simple look that hides a mechanical marvel. The time bridge (borrowed from Semper Opera House in Dresden) is a marvel to behold every 60 seconds as it changes. The movement—the winding and barrel mechanism, the remontoir...
