To me, it is a Master Home Time De Luxe, nothing else.
Lange took the easy way out, with this watch, in my opinion.
I read with a lot of interest what you wrote about the necessity of replacing the 3 quarter rotor with a " classic " one.
We just forget that with a smaller micro rotor, Patek succeded in increasing the power reseve of their movement in a dramaitcal way.
So why Lange didn't succeed in doing the same with a 3 Quarter rotor, rather than taking the easy way out with this classic rotor???
When you look at the first Lange, let's say till 2004, with a few, very ( too? ) few exceptions since 2004, the watches from our beloved brand had something very special, very Lange.
This Saxonia lacks a lot of important things, in my opinion, it looks like another watch, it has no charm, its is banal, with an air of " Déjà vu ".
But you said it, it is, probably, for the new clients, not for the old ones.
I must be old...
Best, and thanks for a superb post, much more superb than the watch.
