Pulled out the 1815 Side Step for Monday
A beautiful dial, but even more beautiful movement. The caliber L944.1 carries a completely hand-engraved 3/4 plate. The floral pattern takes its inspiration from the Meissen Porcelain’s Strew Roses created in 1815. This reference was produced as a limited edition of 125 pieces – 50 in platinum and 75 in pink gold for Wempe. Enjoy!

. . . yeah, the vintage Longines is sweet, but the Lange literally defines 'elegance'. Not that I'm actively searching for one, but should an opportunity arise for a rose gold sidestep, I'd be game! Art
