I guess I never paid attention to the very disappointing 15.3 mm thickness??? And equally disappointing 46 hr PR...
Sigh... well, it will likely sell out fast... hmmm, lost interest personally, after seeing dimensions and movement specs...
IWC... make a 40-42 mm chrono, 13-14 thick max, with 60 hr PR minimum, and make it a chronometer for 12K plus...
IWC's in house movement does not seem to be much of an improvement over 7750... maybe even a negative in the sense that it will be more expensive to service and harder to find parts... for no gain in any measurable sense...
I dunno... I find IWC lazy and opportunistic... (understand, it's just $ but we shouldn't feel that way) shrug...

But 12K is what I paid for my doppel portos less than 12 months ago... seems steep for a fancy case with a simple caliber... ...

IWC is owned by a very large corporation...
And to them the bottom line is more important than the true collectors.
