If the scratches do not have a special story to you, I would always pick the better example

I would take it for its dial and live with the beaten bezel, given that it is fully functional or can be serviced to be. The brown on the minute track has almost created a colour scheme of its own. Compared to this less beaten example here, which has some...

I’m in love with that dial though of your first DSA. Never seen them get so brown on the minute track. Must have had a lot of sun and see and diver bumps in it’s life.

A little rough around the edges, but full of charm. I would just make sure the crystal is in good shape, service it and put it on leather >> good to go

btw, the crowns are identical on this OG while on the Tributes are not. any reason why? cheers
