My Opinion and Mine Alone (Maybe)
We all like watches or we would not be here. Everyone has their personal likes and dislikes when it comes to our watches, I'm going to let you know one of my dislikes, just because I can AND someone here MIGHT read this post.
I quite plain and simple DO NOT LIKE watches that do not have lugs, the ones that come to mind is the AP Royal Oak and the G-P Laureto. They both seem popular here, especially the RO. Just not my cup of tea, so to speak. Also I do not care much for watches where the case is straight between the lugs, like on many Breitlings, unless it is a tank watch like the JLC Reverso line. If ever offered one of the watches in my "dislike" category for an unbelievable low, low price I would buy it, and then sell it faster than I bought it.
Just my opinion and that's exactly why there are so many different styles of watches, we all like something different. Thanks for the outlet to rant on. One more dislike, I like Panerai, just not ones with the hinge type crown lock.

I like all watches .........
but like some more than others. And some I just love. What I don't like and simply cannot see any attraction for is the NATO strap. Sorry if that offends anyone! Colin

I'm not one much for NATO straps either, but that's an easy remedy.
As others have put it the fun is not loving everything all the time.
Opinions matter. I have learned some much from other and my collection and tastes are always evolving. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It kinda made me think about your idea of ligs vs no lugs. Bill
