PASSION 2011 IMAGES!!! BURN!

Sep 26, 2011,13:22 PM

Hereby the images....

Woooooow it was mindblowing. Such quality of watches and different styles. We see more and more love for details and quality. And love for special 'style' of watches. Not just expansive references. But watches with that special emotion. A great patina, feature, inlay.... all watches where brought together with great dedication.

This year we don't do group shots and images of people. Times have changed. Sadly.

So we are sorry to only show you the watches. As the meeting itself wasn't about the watches mainly. Not about how mint is mine, who has what..,. BUT about great talks and total relaxed atmosphere of friendship. No ego's this weekend. No competition.

That is what Philipp and i are most proud of! That special atmosphere of vintage Rolex lovers who celebrate their love at Passion 2011.

Woooooooaaaw only into vintage Rolex for 5 years now. Imagine what great fun i had till now.
Thanks again our Passion friends for all the positive vibe and great watches you brought along! It feels like a great honour to be among such friends!

No other way to describe it. Also, as a relative newbie and a younger member, I think I may be one of the latest victims to the Paul Newman... The black bezel edition is to die for.

What an amazing GTG.

Indeed, what a blast! As the reports on the previous Rolex passion meetings! just amazing when you gather some of the most incredible pieces and collections in the world! The Rolexes, the vintage PAMs...kind of total Eclipse!... All fantastic, for me the ...

The Tudor are much rarer, Matt. :)))

 By: amanico : September 28th, 2011-04:16
Aaah, by the way, Vintage PAM is something which doesn't exist. PAM was introduced when Vendome bought Panerai, in March '97. So, you can say " Vintage Panerai ", but not Vintage PAM. This is a mistake a lot of people make. Best, Nicolas.

OK!

 By: MattS : September 28th, 2011-05:27
thanks for the piece of eductaion your honour, I meant vintage or original Panerai as you want! I doubt there weren't any Tudors around as I have some pics of them on my drive from the last 2 year's reports! I guess they were hiding!...maybe more pics to ...
