I bagged my Grail!
I have some wonderful news to report! Ever since the initial release of the 1858 Tachymeter Series I've been absolutely smitten with the Minerva 16.29 caliber and at long last I finally have one in my collection. To be honest, this piece with the bronze case and copper dial (I see it more copper than salmon) wouldn't have been the way I would have designed it if given the opportunity, but now that its mine and on the wrist for a few days I can say I absolutely love it and wouldn't change a thing!
Many thanks go out to all the enablers on here who continually shared their marvelous editions of the 1858 Tachymeter and wishing everyone here a wonderful Summer.

Minerva movements do not receive the true recognition that they deserve which is a pity in a way but at least it allows more of us to be able to obtain one.

First time trying waxed canvas, they are pretty awesome though they don’t offer ones with taper.
