Thank you everybody for your kind wishes! :) The little guy is not even one week old and have started to ask about the Polaris... Maybe it was a mistake to introduce it to him before he was even born! I better put a lock on the watch box from now on... ;)...

This will be a challenge ...

By: nilomis : September 4th, 2014-12:16
My wife is very jealous about her watches, in special after she did the "Watchmaker for a day" at the IWC Boutique. I could not believe but she was able to dismantle completely a movement, assemble it back and it was working! My friends say that I go to h...

I have one that qualifies....

By: DivingT : September 4th, 2014-13:04
A few years ago (or perhaps a bit earlier), I was rapidly approaching my 40th birthday. I had been struggling for a long time what to try and get - something from 1972. At that time, I was a pure diving watch guy - Subs, Seadwellers, and of course my belo...

Just what I had in mind!

By: Ares501 - Mr Green : September 4th, 2014-13:26
Great story dear Tony and great watch You've been turned to dark side completely bezel can tell :) Yours D

Thanks Damjan, I did change the bezel insert myself....

By: DivingT : September 4th, 2014-22:41
...it must be the Sub / Seadweller in me not wanting to completely give up the black bezel!! LOL! But I kept the pepsi insert, just trying to find a bezel ring now, so that I can swap about easily without popping the insert each time. cheers Tony

Exactly!! You can never underestimate the budget....

By: DivingT : September 5th, 2014-23:45
...that man's best friend can have, when it comes to a present to it's owner ;-) LOL! cheers Tony

Not only movements contain stones

By: crown comfort : September 4th, 2014-23:03
Well when it comes to Ladies watches, often horological complications are less appreciated and the focus shifts to precious metals and stones. I want to contribute two entries: GP Richeville 2658 (automatic movement) given to my loved one 2 years ago And ...

Love Reverso's

By: crown comfort : September 4th, 2014-23:43
Yes, there is a world outside of GP for me too :) I did gave a Reverso many years ago as well. CC

She's turning around my 1675 Mini Dial.

By: amanico : September 5th, 2014-12:22
In fact, each summer, I let her play with. I think I will have to find one for her. Not necessarily mini dial, a good old 1675 will fill the bill... Best, Nicolas.

Really like that Reverso Gran Sport.. Has frequently been underrated.. Great on her wrist!

By: hs111 : September 5th, 2014-06:07
.. needless to say, that the nice glass of white wine is always welcome and goes well with watches.. Why? Well, all aren't these stimulating our senses ?! .. Wine.. Watch.. Not to forget the Lady, of course.. Best, hs :)

Very nice, great combo on the lovely lady

By: 4Js : September 5th, 2014-13:16

By: Dr No : September 6th, 2014-00:54

Not a good picture but..

By: 4Js : September 5th, 2014-04:26
It was taken at the moment of first trying on. This was my wife's and I first trip to Paris. Van cleef does a nice job for women! Unfortunately I took the earrings too! I guess it's not fair since it is quartz. But the workmanship is just fabulous. Hagwe ...
