Zenith Pilot 5011k

Just took delivery yesterday - and absolutely loving this thing! To my surprize, I am finding the watch wearable as far as wrist comfort is concerned - it sits snug on the wrist and Titanium case makes it quite light fornthe size. Of course, there is this lugs overhang, but as a whole the watch does not look cartoonishly big when seen on my big body smile A question to MTR (your nice posts were the last straw making me to pull the trigger smile) and other owners - is it normal for this caliber that the winding is pretty stiff and requires a lot of force to turn the crown?

It will definitely be one of the centerpieces in my collection. A grail achieved!

Yes, the movement is super-special and they do not make them like this any more. 50mm, double hairspring etc. etc.

Congrats! it's a tough watch to wind....

I have had mine for a few years now and still loving it. Yes, it is very difficult to wind exhibiting lots of resistance so that is typical. Enjoy, it is a special timepiece... ...
