Vlad, you are not alone. Then someone mentioned to me this octagonal case with faceted bezel seems to be by Zenith first (think in 1969) before any other brands. Kong

Dodecagonal bezel actually

The Zenith Defy comes few years before both RO and Nautilus. ...

Thanks for the pic!

A picture is worth a thousand words! Maybe would have relaunch soon, and they should explain a bit to set the record straight.

+1

Did you know Zenith was earlier with the hectagonal form? And almost with the first automatic chronograph.

Kong has right about the case shape

 By: Weems@8 : January 14th, 2023-09:46
You never too old to learn 😉. As Zenith want to be the first, Jack was a little bit quicker with a Heuer as the first automatic chronograph. He was reading a newspaper and spit out some coffee out of his mouth when he read about a revolution in watch maki...

Genta's design, too?

Thank you so much! I saw the write ups on these new releases elsewhere but these live photos and videos are fantastic...

and really add to my understanding. Very grateful. I am really intrigued by the 36mm Defy without diamonds. The green looks tasty! Actually so does the pink, who knows it could be a first pink dial for me. The blue is nice too but less fresh. This design ...

Thanks ...

for viewing too. The Pink 36mm looks good in steel. The Boutique Edition, I'm trying to think what's the applications too Kong

Very tasteful watches

Zenith did a great job on this Kong. Thank u for giving a view on the Louie watch week. The skeleton Defy is a pretty ticker. The silicon escapement system would give an owner an enjoyable worry free watch, I own one and it put the power reserve up to an ...

Size ...

 By: Kong : January 15th, 2023-13:36
Thanks for viewing. Seems like the watch size is scaling back around reasonable 36mm to 41 or 42mm. Otherwise most of the pieces would need to be redesigned to have the lugs to drop down sharply for the watch body to hug the wrists snugly. Kong

Wow! So good to read you Kong!

Wow! Wow!

Hey Patrick Good to hear from you too. Wish you an advance Happy Lunar New Year first! The Boutique Edition, please let me know what you could do with the 1/10th of a second indicator. Take good care. Kong

1/10th

I definitely wouldn't do much with it. But I'd definitely enjoy watching it move in the subdial!

Yes, the Skeleton...

 By: Kong : January 15th, 2023-13:43
challenging to capture on photograph, and much more appealing when view in steel. Kong

Very intriguing!

No doubt the Defy Skyline Skeleton in either color is the one to get, followed by the Defy Skyline 36 in summer colors.

Well said ...
