I agree that this is a real alternative in ladies' automatic watches. It is not particularly to my taste, but it is an classic styled everyday watch a woman might choose for herself to wear to the office in US and Europe. Hence the grey rather than white strap. Display backs are actually a novelty and a big attraction to non WIS ladies (anecdotal evidence from when I show watches to my colleagues and friends). I also agree that the proportions are better in the smaller size than in the larger men's version. Zenith has targeted a different demographic in its dress watches than many other houses and it will be interesting to see whether this pays off.
