Zenith

While browsing online yesterday I came across a Zenith El Primero that I have never seen before (probably not that rare) and that I could find absolutely no information about (apart from one source selling the specific example). From: Bachmann & Scher Pur...  

I have seen these before and they have the same movement as the one in the Cairelli (cal 146) Cairelli had the 146 DP ( 2 counters), this one has the 146 HP ( 3 counters) The 146 calibers were BEFORE they used the EP I see Bachmann and Scher says it's an ... 

And the corrections The 146 also makes sense for Italy, since they used the Cairellis before. Or concurrently... The black coating would be quite early for the 1970s, though - was much rarer back then I guess. Just saw Porsche Design advertising that they...

... not only it is uncommon for Zenith to use hands too short (look at the minute hand ending far too short for the markers), but also the dial says "T", indicating tritium activated luminous mass, but the hands appear to be without any luminous parts. Co... 

But now found another one with the help of Bruno and it has exactly the same hands... There are luminous dots for the hours, though...

But the watch is ok, no replacements

I'll have a look if any have different hands. The second one I have seen - thanks Bruno - also had the same short hands.
