Just learned about Alchron ...
... that it is completely black. I mean that the material itself is black. All other black watches I am aware of need some kind of surface treatment in order to become black: either PVD, DLC or rubber. Alchron, however, is a black metal. So if you scratch the case, the scratch will be black, and thus not more visible than a scratch on an uncoated steel case. I think this is really cool!
