The screwed down pushers reveal that this watch is from the last production series, already equipped with a sapphire crystal.



What I liked about the De Luca was its slim case. I think that even a watch with a large diameter looks better on the wrist when it is rather thin. Maybe I have just seen too many watch mountains towering over the wrists ...

The only reason why I finally sold the De Luca was the poor legibility of the rhodium-plated hands over the silver subdials. This is a common problem of this otherwise very attractive and popular chronograph design type.
