Zenith Comes to Boston!

Zenith had a wonderful event last night at the local Boston AD.   Not only was it great getting hands on with the 2012 Novelties but being able to meet Jean-Frédéric Dufour was definitely a highlight.   What Mr. Dufour has done for Zenith is just absolutely fabulous and it was great to hear from him how he first envisioned the idea of the Striking 10th + the origins of the Pilot born from 5011 movements sitting in the archive + all being COSC-certified.

While it goes without saying that the Pilot is awesome, I was really surprised by the Doublematic.  To have a world time, chrono, big date and alarm all in a single watch is really awesome.   And it was great to see how the alarm has the power reserve that spins as it cycles + the fact that you can easily activate + de-activate with the touch of a button is perfect.

The Pilot is super comfortable on your wrist.   Even at 57mm, it seems to be perfectly balanced and works really well.   It looks great on Mr. Dufour, not seeming too large on his wrist at all.   It just worked and definitely made a believer out of me.

Thanks again to the Boston AD + Alain Huy for organizing the reception + the dinner afterwards.   Zenith is definitely a brand with an amazing history that is being revitalized under Mr. Dufour.   I can't wait to see what they have coming up next.

Best,
Greg
