P@trick@Belgium introduces his latest acquisition, the Zenith Montre d'Aéronef Type XX, a watch notable for its substantial 57.5mm case size. His post captures the collector's dilemma of appreciating a unique piece while acknowledging its impracticality for daily wear due to its sheer scale.

Certainly not your daily wearer this Zenith montre Aeronef type XX, it's not big but huge, measuring 57.5mm, depending on the angle you see it on my 17cm (6.5 ') wrist it goes from acceptable to ridiculous. But that doesn't take away that it's a nice ad to my collection of Zenith watches, this is number 3 after the Stratos and the Doublematic.  A collector's piece for sure smile

I would love to see the group shot, and wonder what will be next? The Type 20 GMT or the Annual Calendar?

is not trying to take it yourself but let somebody else take the picture If you take your own wristshot you're always to much focussed on the watch, and in this case the watch will always look huge. Now, when you were at my place a few hours ago I did take some shots too .. and this is how 'other' people will see it ... It is big but imo it doesn't look as ridiculously as your own wristshots :-) you be the Judge

Try the Type 20 GMT. At 48 mm a good daily. The Type 20 57.5 mm is good for weekends. I'm very happy having both.
