This post explores the allure of owning multiple iterations of a beloved watch, driven by factors like material, wearability, and the anticipation of future releases. It invites the community to share their own stories of acquiring duplicate watches.

Some can say that is a clear cut case of madness but I already did this pairing with two other watches. One pair was made of Amvox I and the other pair was Zenith Chronomaster. My problem was that there was in all cases a favorite. Since I don't like "sad watches" I let go one of each. But, by all means, enjoy your pair. They are fantastic. I'm currently craving for one, smaller to fit my wrist. Cheers, Nilo
Went for a drive this sunny morning in Shanghai to buy dumpling skins ! Thanks Nilo, yes we might well be crazy, but nice to hear I am not alone.
Or better, who knows? Well, this is not exactly the same watch, as the metal of the case changes. And your preception of the watch a bit, also. Therefore, I know many Vintage rolex guys ( including myself ) who buy 2 or more of the same watches. Aniother picture of Vintage GMTs: So, no, I am not surprised... And I don't feel it is not normal. Best, Nicolas
OMG, I almost stopped breathing when I saw the picture of the 5070's laid out in a row. I would also, if I could, but I can't. Thanks Nico for the posting.
And in the case of the 5070, I can't do it, either... At least, I would have loved to get the two white metal cases of this watch! :) Best, Nicolas
As they say, wear them both in the best of health! -MW
