Whenever I wear these watches it feels a bit like holidays
Dear Nilo,
I will not really be able to mee your task and show my "holiday watch". Probably this Omega SM 300 might be an option as I like to wear it at the seaside:
But I often feel it is the other way round: whenever I wear my favourite watches it seems to be like a little bit of holiday in everyday life 
!
A quick look at the dial makes me smile and thoughts may wander back to past times and spots - a little journey in the mind sphere. Of course vintage watches serve best for this purpose:

so my understanding is that GP was bought by a German (!!!) Herr Graeff from Pforzheim in the early 20th century and they had the Mimo brand which in paticular was popular in America. For a while they sold basically GP watches branded Mimo in America, but...

Yes, MIMO bought GP and GP survived, that part is true.... But, GP was used in North/south America and Asia while MIMO was more used in Europe. Best Blomman

the bezel measures a mere 39mm, small by today's standards for a diving watch. I do not have much info on the watch other than its ref. no. PMQ5-2043 and that its from from the late 90s. Titanium case, quartz movement (no info on the calibre), 200m water ...
