The odd one out
One of my highlights from 2015 was the GP Laureato from 1975.
Why this one?
It's a Quartz, how can I? But it's 1975 and in this time it was state-of-the-art. It has a "Chronometer" spec and boy it keeps time. On the second for weeks and weeks.
It has a bracelet, how can I? Yes, this is in fact my only bracelet watch right now but I really enjoy wearing it. It's a relatively thin bracelet and fully satin finished, so not too flashy.
What else?
The design of this watch, a true Genta genius stroke.
The Dial colour and texture.
The fact, that it was for service and just got back.
And the fact that I picked this up way below value, makes me still grin.
