Deeply impressed by this year's Best Actor performance in Joker . . .
. . . especially considering how Phoenix upstaged one of the greatest actors in the history of cinema. I've never seen DeNiro play second fiddle in any scene, even when he doesn't have top billing. Joaquin's tour de force performance rendered DeNiro's superfluous.
Time to shine, film fans! Hope to see all of you this weekend.

. . . I feel it's one of the all-time great film performances by any actor. Peter O'Toole in Lawrence , Peter Sellers in Being There . . . Phoenix in Joker is on the same level, in my humble opinion.
