Our First WS event for New Year 2026 is Open Now! The Theme is "End of the Year Balances (And Dreams for 2026)"
Hello dear Friends! Happy New Year 2026!
I have the pleasure to host this first event of WS for this year. You may begin posting in this same thread now and the event will be open till next Sunday 4th at night.
Our Theme is asking our participants to tell us about their Horological Balance for the past year 2025 sharing the watch (or watches) which have arrived to their collections during 2025.
If no new watches were added we invite to share the watch/watches most worn during past year.
We also would like to know about your Horological Dreams for the present 2026: those timepieces you have in your sights and expect to hunt this year.
I invite participants to read the updated "Event Guide" posted today by our dear Captain Scarlet, a complete guide which explains every aspect of our WS events.
As usual you may enter photographs to participate in the three main categories: "Best Wrist Shot", "Best Static Shot", and "Best Classic watch". Additional we will award "Watch of the Wrist" chosing among all entries received the watch we believe best repersents the theme regardless of watch value, brand, or fitting in any of the previous mentioned categories.
I will be closing the event on Sunday night when calling the veredicts from the Judges which will be published along Monday 5th.
I look forward to a very fun and enjoyable weekend with many interesting entries. You may begin posting now in this same thread!

I really like this reference and variant so much as it was the watch of Armstrong though I can´t remember the year of his historical watch and if it also had a CB case. May be you can refresh me those details. Cheers! Abel

No, it’s the HF case. CB cases were only made for the Speedmaster during 1966 though those cases were used to assemble the chronos during 1966 and 67 and perhaps 68 as well. Glad you like it! Abrazos! Abel Probably the shadows in my pictures give the idea...
