One decision in so far . . .
. . . for Watch of the Week.
"Hi Artie,
Judging the watch of the week is a tough job.
A lot of excellent competitors have played, as always.
Even if a judge does never break the secret of the delibéré, here are some explanations which led me to take my decision:
1/ I didn't want to nominate an usual winner, even if they all have excellent arguments.
2/ A watch of the week has to be really exceptional.
3/ The shot has to be well taken.
4/ The spirit of the photo and of the watch.
I had to choose between 4 watches, here.
- ED's shot of the PPRO Watch.

What can I say that you don't already know? This is a community watch, with strong values. The shot was brilliantly taken, too.
Bimbeano's Longines LLD . . .

. . . a greedy shot of another community watch (how many are we to own this watch?), and so much tenderness in these pictures.
Baron's evilesque submission. His 16 660 is just awesome . . .

. . . with such a superb patina. This watch is a best of both modern and vintage worlds, which exactly conform to the content of our Home. Moreover, a superb photo.
BUT the winner, for me, is Vinontre. The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms US NAVY . . .

. . . is a LEGEND, really exceptional, and the shot is superbly taken, with a great background.
Bravo, a double bravo, Vinontre, on the watch and the picture!
Best,
Vlad"
Thank you, Nicolas. It was a close call for me in this category, with Graham's incredibly rare and desirable Omega Seamaster DeVille . . .

. . . vying for my affections, with Darren's scrumptious Eberhard . . .

. . . right behind.
Wrist Scan and Static Photo decisions will be posted tomorrow, as they haven't been received yet, and I'm taking off for the rest of the day shortly.
