I know that replacing a real nice 6105 is not easy. As a matter of fact I have never seen one (even a poor one) in the real down here. The one you show is very nice and could fill the bill perfectly. I will check. I thank you so much the info you sent me.
Regarding the SM, yes, I found these German made black leather with white stitching. I look forward to get some cordovan ones, or/and some canvas (sand color I feel) straps in a near future.
I learned that Omega is offering a leather set with deployant nowadays. This is an interesting option too, though I´m not very fond of deployants in my leather straps.

so my understanding is that GP was bought by a German (!!!) Herr Graeff from Pforzheim in the early 20th century and they had the Mimo brand which in paticular was popular in America. For a while they sold basically GP watches branded Mimo in America, but...

Yes, MIMO bought GP and GP survived, that part is true.... But, GP was used in North/south America and Asia while MIMO was more used in Europe. Best Blomman
