Hi all
First off nice one G....
Here is my early 70s vintage Zenith Defy with original GF Zenith signed flip loc bracelet ! This was the one that I was shipped from Turkey and took almost 4 weeks to arrive at my door stop ( 3 days to get to the USA) and the rest of the time from JFK to NJ with a layover in customs .
The Defy was a Super shock proof sports model with a screw down bezel , caseback and crown !! This model had a water resistance of 300 m . They were first sold with 18,000 nph my example has the later 2652 pc movement that beats at 28,800 bph. It also has a very cool domed mineral crystal that I will need to take a proper profile shot for, the only sad thing is that there are some hairline scratches on the crystal that cant be removed. I had this watch for about a month but it was hard for me to wear. The bracelet was just a little snug on my wrist. Maybe too snug as when i took the watch off the Zenith Star was firmly embossed on my wrist for the next hour ! As luck would have it i found a partial bracelet on a auction site and was able to take two links for my watch !! The seller shipped it to me after the Iceland volcano accident so it too took about 2 weeks to get to my doorstep. Now all is right in the world.

Good Hunting
