Sorry to make you stand on your head. Here’s another pre-rotated shot of the Reverso Memory.
Obedient is not how one would describe my lovely wife. The obverse is more apt, and a Reverso therefore seems appropriate.
She does, however, have excellent taste in watches … and men. ;-)

You are absolutely correct about crema. This is the brown coloured layer of fats, dissolved flavenoids and aromatics that floats on the surface of your coffee due to the release of carbon dioxide from the beans during extraction. Good latte art just suggests that the coffee beans are in good condition and extracted properly and the milk has been microfoamed appropriately.
The barista would take it as an honour if you dived right in!

The Memory is housed in the 39x23mm Classic case, so is a little larger than the standard 'ladies' Reverso, but on bracelet it suits her perfectly. She picked this out very quickly, not because of the continuous flyback minute counter, but because of the main dial. Legibility is superb and the large seconds was important in her work.

hi Andrew, you just reminded that your wife's watch is Reverso Memory? it is discontinued and was just produced in one year or so.
very interesting function, but not sure why MJLC did not continue to make it in longer term?

The Reverso Memory (Ref. 255.08.82), as far as I can tell, was discontinued in 2002 after being produced for 3 or 4 years. All I can assume is that it did not sell well. But that just makes it all the more interesting. The main dial is just perfect to my eyes, very easy to read the time even from some distance away, with nice use of guilloche and a large seconds subdial. The continuous flyback minute counter is also useful on occasions, mostly for timing carparks.
