Late entry but happily before closing of entries and the start of judging 😁😉

Hope everyone is well. Sorry, I have been busy for the past week so not posting or contributing as much but that will be rectified shortly 😜.

I had to try and get in a post, especially with this theme I find so fascinating and fun. Dials are usually the first thing we notice so one of the most important factors of choosing or liking a timepiece. Here are some of the ones that stand out to me for different reasons.

Omega's Apollo 8 DSOTM for the amazing laser ablation of the moon surface. The details are awesome.

Possibly my favorite blue dial made has to be from the FPJ CB. The dial seems to be a chameleon in different lighting.

I really like the guilloché pattern on the VC Malte Chronograph and because of the dial as well as the case and lugs, I would even put it ahead of my PP 5070G in terms of boldness and charm

Now for enamel dials. What can I say, they are just beautiful 😍

This RD Hommage Perpetual is one of the few which was produced with an enamel dial instead of a lacquer dial. Cannot wait to get it back from the spa.

The next one is not mine but Jaquet Droz does some of the most amazing stone dials. I believe this is Spectralite or Pietersite.

And to end it, how about a beautiful timepiece without a dial but therein lies the charm 😉😁
