. . . which is a bit unusual because the setting is one which rarely gives cause to glance at my wrist. Time is not a factor in baseball, unlike most other team sports . . . the ebb and flow of the game isn't determined by a clock, but by a natural pace. I've been to hundreds of games, and hardly ever bother to check the time until the game is over. It's almost as though one's awareness of time is suspended while the game is in play . . . cordially, Art.
