Firstly the watch - you've all seen this before - my Omega Memomatic. Went to a well known shop on the Strand as they had a few in and had always wanted a proper look. They then pulled out from under the counter this one - they'd just got it back from the Omega service centre. Just about sold immediately - but sensible head on went for a tea , a bit of a think , chat for moral support (just bloody buy it!) and some serious web searches.
Wasn't a very long tea break - let's leave it at that!
Then queuing for scrutineering
It's definitely a moment when you're on the start line waiting for the green light.
