A remarkable occurrence . . .
Dec 13, 2019,16:16 PM
. . . earlier this week. My '08 Honda Civic . . .
. . . hit the 300K mark. Purchased Nov 30th, 2007, exceeded 300K Dec 9th, 2012. That amounts to 25000 miles a year, or a trip around the equator, whichever comes first.
The transmission was replaced a few months ago, the a/c several months ago, and the short block was replaced under warranty at ~ 105K miles. A few clutches, plus a flywheel when the transmission gave up. And a starter, too - preventive maintenance, not because it had gone out. Other than that, it's been routine service; Kendall GT-1 full synthetic oil is my only personal touch.
With any luck, this '44 Ω . . .
. . . will last even longer.
