Here’s my selection… ☺️
First and foremost, my Panerai PAM 984 Mike Horn deserves a special mention. If you’ve read my recent post, you’ll know how carefully I chose this watch a few weeks ago according to certain criteria. Now, after its first trip to the sea, I can say: it’s exactly what I hoped for – effortless, powerful, and timelessly beautiful.

My Panerai 721 still holds its ground as well, although I honestly wouldn’t take it into rougher waters.

The Rolex Daytona 126508 is another perfect summer companion. Platinum is a wonderfully cool colour for hot summer days – an all-rounder (if you dare to wear it everywhere), though better suited for a relaxed resort holiday than for the open sea…

Then there’s the Cartier Santos GMT, which joined me on a city trip to Rome last October. A wonderful choice for urban adventures, and – I like to think – one you don’t have to worry too much about when strolling through busy streets.

For my IWC Minute Repeater, second generation in platinum, I even travelled all the way to Milan, combining the purchase with a truly memorable stay. It’s a watch that delights the eyes as much as the ears.

The Girard-Perregaux Tourbillon Three Bridges also makes the occasional holiday appearance – pure haute horlogerie in a surprisingly wearable package.

And finally, my Audemars Piguet Offshore in black ceramic: uncompromisingly sporty, technically flawless, yet with an elegance you might not expect from an Offshore at first glance.

OMG…
I have to stop now.
And I am looking forward to all the other posts!! ☺️🙏
All the best
Thomas
