are of rose gold also and match the applied numerals (and the case). It is a nice attention to detail from Dornblueth which you have noticed. tempusfugit

I have a similar one from a "no name" label called "Comor" with a similar movement as I suppose. My watch dates from my early days when my funds where quite limited. The small second at 9 o´clock also features a 24 hour indication, otherwise they look the... 

Thanks Anaesdoc, Do you still have the Comor? Most of these triple date chronographs used the Valjoux 7X family of calibres with some variations including the moonphase and 24 hour indication. These movements were used in a variety of watches from Rolex, ...  

..., but never looked into it ! Neither did a watchmaker :-(! As it keeps excellent time I did not bother to have it serviced until now. Best again, anaesdoc

I felt the same way the first post I ever saw on a Sarpaneva but it grew interesting with all the stories I have read. Some have called it a "new" moon but I think of it as a "melancoly" moon just as Stepon describes life in Finland when the sun does not ...
