Watch with mechanical pedometer?
Anyone interested to get one if it’s available? Form what I know, mechanical pedometers have been around since the 1500s. Is it too far fetched to include this as a watch complication? Would be cool have it integrated in our beloved mechanical watches than carrying a separate fitness band / watch.

Interesting question
I think it would be difficult to add it on a wrist watch due to the arm movement. Early pedometer hang in a strap around the neck or in pocket... Best Blomman
I’m not sure both the mechanism dedicated to the watch and the one to the pedometer could work together without disruptions

but for a wrist watch I think a mechanical podometer is out of the question. There are, however several quartz/"smart"-watches that have podometers that work very well. The signal treatment necessary to eliminate the arm movement from the steps counted is...

I guess that’s why Frederique Constant came up with an e-Strap. Battery powered as usual.
