I am restoring a 1675, going around the world to get parts, always struggling to avoid retouched dials or fake bezels

Decided to buy a proper Macro lens, i saw this on hodinkee and i thought is was great, it is great, a bit expensive but definitely the ultimate tool.

I am too casual a watch guy to justify almost $1,000 (in the configuration you have) just to look at my movements up close! I might like to borrow it for a few minutes, but no good reason for me to buy one except pure extravagance.

I agree, and I used some cheaper olio lens that are as good as this.

I like d this in the way they are produced,, very good quality, but a bit too expensive, the ultraviolet led light is cool and useful to check the lume.

yea its pretty useful
