you can't use the same escape wheel on two different forks
Both forks need to be under tension when locked to work properly and the same wheel can't do that to both simultaneously. _john

That simply will not work. The escape wheel has to lock against a fork, and using the angle of draw, it holds the pallet fork in place against a banking point. If your second fork is floating in position, with no influence from the escape wheel, it would ...
