And a distinct caseback engraving. Also, the 333 might have only come in Automatic or Quartz. Your watch seems to be a somewhat dressier ultra thin integrated bracelet execution without a unique model name such as Phidias, 222, 333, etc. ...

Your watch certainly has the look of a Yamani-era VC. The examples of the 33090 that I see online were from Japanese sites so I wonder if it was intended for that market? Predates the Phidias but its fascinating to see the evolutionary process at work her...  

Excellent, thank you! Just the sort of context I was hoping to discover. That 74014 is the nearest I've seen so far. So do you think it may have been a JP-only edition? But it looks like a Geneva dealer stamp, unless I'm mistaken. I'm not familiar with VC...

Not good or bad, just informative. The retailer fills out the booklet at time of sale so this indicates it was in an English speaking locale
