What a beauty!

This 1955 is simply gorgeous! The hour markers give it tons of character and the case, dial, proportions are just perfect.

I applaud you for actually wearing this vintage piece regularly instead of just admiring it in your drawer. We don’t see these vintage beauties in the wild even nearly enough!

Enjoy,
Daniel

Two very different watches but I love them both......

The 1955 VC is my favorite of the two, I use the Overseas as a travel watch. 36mm vs 42mm and I'll still take the vintage piece all day! ...

The 1955 looks wonderful!

Everyone likes a Rolls-Royce car. And everyone likes a beautiful classic Vacheron Constantin.

Most welcome! [nt]

Both are great watches. You're a luck person here who is satisfied with only two!

It was very strange reading your thread and getting a feeling that how can he be satisfied with just two watches, albeit of a great pedigree... Now you've removed my confusion. We're on same ship. Take care. Regards

Both are great.

Those are 2 very nice VC watches. The 1955 looks great. You don’t often get to see a VC with those types of numbers for the hours indices Glad to read that you wear the, both and both look great

I prefer the vintage watch

Yes I would prefer the dial without the automatic mention......

just like I'd prefer the Overseas without the date!

Agreed Nico, an important distinction
