Hello together,
I noticed that it has been some while since I have visited the forums and since my passion for watches has been reignited, or let's better say that it has got some time to manifest itself in form of some picture making and reading trough the various sites available to the passionat that wants to learn more let me present to you one of my dearest watch and movement : the ref. 6394Q and the 1961 launched K1072 movement ( mine should be from around 1964 ) :
While not a Chronometre Royal and not the Gyromax version K1072/2 I was very lucky to get my hands on this wonderful piece of horological hystory.
No chance to make a pictutre of it not running since it goes on as soon as you move it ( along with it's cousin, the slim 2120 from AP they are my fastest starting automatics

I was in doubt at one point because there was no "Automatic" inscription on the dial, and since I got it at auction and they did not advertise it correctly I both it only because I hoped to get one with the 1072 and not the 1019 ( afterwards I got a nice ...
probably occurred during a service
when AUTOMATIC was unintentionally removed while cleaning. AFAIK there were no variants with 1019 so you had no worries there. Calibres used were 1071 (no date), 1072 (date) or 1072/1 (date and Gyromax).
