VC 270th : 82172/000P-H062 38 TRADITIONNELLE
Hi all,
Wanted to add one of the 270th to the collection but It was a difficult choice.. was tempted by both the 222 and the Green Arabic dial of the 1921 but as both will continue to be produced in later years, I went with the Unique dial that is only been made for this year …limited to 370 pieces and in platinum, it ticked all the boxes of an Anniversary release for me…
I really liked the complete calendar as well but there was hardly any of the Guilloche dial left to enjoy so had to pass on that …
These are difficult to photograph as the pattern leads to a lot of Moire effects in the final image …
The extra green anniversary rubber texture strap is a great option for summer weather and the platinum heft is just right, in my opinion…
I know the dial won’t be to everyone’s taste but I think it adds a whimsical variety to my collection 😊

Nice to have a Brand new platinum vc! The green strap will go great on that as well. Nice the boutiques said they were going to try to have the new releases in stock for sale 👍

The 82172 is one of VC's best timepieces and, even if I personally don't respond to the anniversary pattern on the dial, I certainly understand why this platinum edition is attractive nonetheless. It looks great on your wrist! Best, Emmanuel

Congratulations indeed. A great piece. I was gravitating towards rose gold from pictures, however in real life the pt950 has interesting colour play on the dial.
Look forward to receiving mine later this year. I love the 270 engrave on movement. A nice touch imho.
