Two days ago I got to try on
les Cornes de Vache.
Seeing this watch in the metal has changed my mind substantially: While I have adored dial and movement from the beginning, I thought the distinctive lugs, the very lugs that provide its name and character, could never, uh, gel with me.
Having handled the YG reference now, I think that the case is rather pudgy but everything, just everything else is nothing short of adorable, including the charming lugs. Emmanuel, I salute you.
However, fortunately, this is a watch that seems prepared to wait for a gentleman to grow into the right age/mindset/lifestyle. This here (gentle)man thinks he’s not quite ready yet.

I've never seen the Pt in person either. The steel is very nice in its own right, but it doesn't have the blue tachymeter scale, which is wonderful.
