I’m glad some of the charm of this watch worked for you, even if you feel that the time for such a watch has not yet come for you.
By “pudgy” do you mean a little too large at 38.5 mm (vs 36 or 35 mm for the original model) or a little too thick (over 10 mm I think) or maybe both?
I personally think they could have remained a little closer to the original diameter.
The model you’ve tried on is probably in rose gold, not yellow, as the only YG example I know of is the bespoke piece made for Wei Koh.
It would also be very interesting to know your feelings concerning the steel variant or the platinum one if you ever have the chance to try them on.

I've never seen the Pt in person either. The steel is very nice in its own right, but it doesn't have the blue tachymeter scale, which is wonderful.
