Please ask the seller to provide you with the six digit movement serial number. It will be engraved on the plate but will be small. I typically either need to use a loupe or take a macro photograph to be able to read the numbers. With that I can get the date for you from VC.

My opinion is what this dial is badly redone. It is a terrible mistake that the (& is missing from the name. Here are some photos from another Vacheron & Constantin ref. 4126. with beautiful engine turned dial taken from the internet....
