It’s fascinating to see how you position the watch on a holder, slowly release the string holder which will then push the crown into a kind of holder.
And then few seconds later this holder starts turning until it meets a certain resistance or torque from the crown
That’s indicating the spring is fully wound. It then stops, and two seconds later the holder makes five turns in the opposite direction. This to prevent the spring from being overstretched.
If you leave it like that the winding proces will repeat itself every 24 hours. It can run on outlet 220V but also batteries (which is very pragmatic if you store it in a safe with wonder snd all

Wow, great story, I must mention it to my wife, she can start saving now:). Fantastic piece, i saw this in an AD and its just perfect. I'm sure the feel good factor must be amazing. Many years ago on this forum
