I found this piece to be interesting because it is a modern piece made using newer techniques and tighter tolerances (feels more solid when handled) and being made of platinum, it feels a lot more top-heavy compared to many other vintage pieces I've tried with the same diameter. So I was surprised when I first put it on...

The perfect analogy - putting on the Datograph on for the first time. Given the relatively modest diameter, the weightiness of the piece overwhelms the wrist initially.

But as with the Datograph, the "off-balance" feel quickly becomes natural and the piece becomes extremely enjoyable!

It's funny how large 40mm feels now after having spent some tine with 36mm on the wrist. smile

I think that is a very proper word here - its size makes it a perfect daily wearer or travel partner!

you have great taste. the understated brown calf strap is perfect for this watch. at 37mm, this VC watch is perfect for the asian wrist.

Perfect for any wrist! Absolutely beautiful wristwatch - classic, elegant, sublime. Yellow gold version is terrific as well.
