If we look closer at the steel variants, than the more appropriate order would appear. Provided you do respect the movement quality as on ordering principle.

Actually the same order principle I would have expected for the comparison in gold. So the VC FIFTYSIX gold versions are more atractive, are the better buy.
At the moment that's just a Richemont in-house competition. I wonder nobody complained yet. VC isn't exactly to compare to Cartier or Piaget. I would rather say, it's the wrong peer group to compare!
My choice...
...would be the left pair. Clean, straight lines, very puristic and therefore a nice contrast to the textile texture.
