Either sadly or fortunately it did not do so in terms of sales 😉 Very happy to have bagged mine as a result 👍🏻

With the exception of the Reverso and the Tank, tend to ‘tank’ 😉

Not many were made and sold, so not sure how easy it is to see one live (depending on where one lives) 😊

For me the watch is the epitome of what I have been looking for in a VC. I understand that VC will probably pause before doing another version of the 1972 but as a brand building exercise it worked in my eyes. Commercially, possibly less so 😊

And it has been the best reissue IMHO 😊🙌🏻

And the 2013 reissue really did everything right IMHO 🙌🏻

In some ways the watch is simple but it works as an interplay of many design choices molded into a coherent whole 👍🏻

During the Singapore trip where I met up with Robin I saw it live for the first time. Took some years until I could call it my own 😊

I find the pictures from the old iPhones to somehow be more pleasing that from the more recent models (14 upwards) 😊🤷🏻‍♂️

Took me quite a while to find mine and was fortunate to bag it just when they were least popular. The watch will never have universal appeal but in all honesty it only counts that it appeals to me 😉👍🏻

It is hard to choose a suitable model, I know there are 2 versions Ladies' and men's (larger) apart from that many different dials, from blank of any inscription, indexes etc. to a texture version like yours. Do you know if there were different series to ... 

The original from 1972 and running throughout the 1970s, then a second generation that was somewhat squarer in the early 2000s, then a third generation that had a quartz movement and was (almost exclusively) focused on ladies and finally the 2013 reissue,... 

Given that they were not a success commercially, not sure the next generation will come any time soon 😊🤷🏻‍♂️
