Although forum policy generally forbids posting counterfeit timepieces, there has to be leeway for us to examine and discuss the elements that establish this diagnosis, particularly with regards to vintage V&C timepieces which are so vulnerable to being altered or outright faked, and for which there is a dearth of research material. However, I must disabuse our poster of any hope this watch is authentic. Vitalsigns has noted many of the problematic areas.
