New appreciation for the Overseas

Hey M, I had a chance to try on an Overseas chron a few weeks ago at a watch event. It was a pink gold on a chocolate colored rubber strap (I believe) and the watch was a revelation for me. The combination was amazing, feeling very luxurious and sporty at the same time. I had not really appreciatd how beautiful this watch is until I tried it on, although PinkPanther had told me I would like it (I should always listen to him). My perfect Overseas would be the pink gold chrono, with a nice guilloched chocolate dial and with a fast strap change system (a la JLC's mechanism on the Extreme Master Compressors) so I could go easily between a bracelet, leather and rubber straps. In any case the Overseas Chrno really is a stunner.

especially good sounding is the tantalum with gray guilloche........ oooh-la-la. WG or platinum with blue dial sounds highly luxurious, but Blue has to be the perfect blue, or it can be altogether wrong, and it's a color that would be very hard to 'design...
