Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques American 1921 Platinum. One of the modern Vacheron I desire the most

 By: amanico : January 4th, 2020-01:28
Different, original, class. That's the Vacheron I like. The platinum case and the grained dial are two big plus. The con? I would have preferred it one or two millimeters smaller, but not a dream breaker. Best, Nicolas ...

Great timepiece and on my list for the longest period

Back in my VC days, I wanted one very badly the turndown was that I’m left handed and can’t wear watches on my left hand.

I contacted VC regarding a costume lefty model, but the price was astronomical... I saw somewhere on the net a lefty steel blue dial piece. Nevertheless thank you for reminding me this great reference.

My dream watch

I love it , it’s so gorgeous and such a VC signature watch. I’m often asked three questions: 1) is that crown uncomfortable considering it’s position? No you barely notice it 2) isn’t the platinum very heavy? Yes it’s heavier than the similar size gold ve...

Just go to Romain Rea rue Marbeuf and realize your dream regards, Patrickh

it is their policy to do not write the price.

Wasn't this originally...

 By: mdg : January 4th, 2020-18:22
designed this way so the 12 and 6 axis would look vertical when worn on the inside of the wrist while gripping a steering wheel?

Correct

By: Costa (aka Connie) : January 4th, 2020-19:26
It was designed for drivers

This watch could become my first VC.

 By: MTR : January 5th, 2020-09:06
My only concern: the crown is in a very exposed position and therefore might be easier damaged than with crown guards or at least with a „classic“ position at 3 (or 9). What do you think respectively what is your experience? Best Thomas

It‘s always not a bad idea and an
